Born in the former Yugoslavia, Nina Varga lived there until the age of six, when she and her family came to the Netherlands as refugees. Adjusting to a new culture and mentality at such a young age was a challenge, but her natural creativity and the warm, positive temperament rooted in her Yugoslavian heritage helped her flourish.

Her first steps into the fashion world began with an internship at a Belgian fashion designer’s atelier. It didn’t take long before her versatile skills were noticed she was asked to model in the showroom and later walked in a Paris fashion show. Around the same time, a Dutch modeling agency spotted her and invited her to go to Milan. Modest as she was perhaps already embodying a typically Dutch down-to-earth mindset so she declined the opportunity, thinking the world already had enough top models.

Despite that, Nina continued to build a strong presence in the fashion industry not only in front of the camera as a model, but also behind the scenes as a creative director and stylist. She travelled the world, collaborating with numerous photographers and working for a variety of international clients.

Today, Nina channels her creative vision and experience into her role as Visual Brand Lead at a Dutch skincare company, where she plays a key part in shaping and growing the brand's visual identity.

When she's not working, Nina enjoys spending quality time with her family, going for long walks in nature, and taking mindful moments to simply breathe and be present.
