Over the past 20 years Irene’s modeling career has taken her to New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Barcelona, Sydney and Hong Kong. She was first introduced to the modeling world after being asked by her hairdresser to do a L’Oréal hair show in her small hometown. It was there that she met other models and fashion industry contacts.
Some of her most memorable productions include a cover shoot for Elle Magazine in Mexico, a jeans campaign shot in L.A. where they closed the entire Rodeo Drive just for her to be on an empty street, shooting swimwear on a private beach in Florida and practicing Salsa dancing with the entire production team while shooting in the Dominican Republic.
Irene has done many runway shows over her career, some of the most memorable being Armani and Gucci. She specializes in runway, dance, acting and fitness. Irene has been a dancer for more than 15 years and she now enjoys practicing Aerial Silks. When she was younger, she participated in a lot of youth theatre and improvisation. She is now taking camera acting education with the Film Actors Academy in Amsterdam.
Her hobbies include making jewelry and caring for animals. She is a goldsmith, making jewelry in her home studio when she isn’t working. She has volunteered at animal shelters and is an experienced dog trainer. She spends her free time playing with her son, enjoy festivals from time to time and spending quality time with friends.
The most important thing for Irene is being real, believing in herself and living in the moment. She knows not to take anything too seriously and enjoys the little things in life.
