Eline got scouted when she was 17 on her way for a day on the beach with her mum. A scout approached her and asked her if she’d ever thought about becoming a model. And so she was booked for her first modeling trip to Athens. At that time she was still in the middle of her exams, but there was no going back.
After passing her exams and working in Athens, Eline lived in Milan, Paris, New York, and finally ended up in London where she was based for nearly 10 years. Currently, she lives in Barcelona and is absolutely loving it out there.
Eline’s first worldwide tv-commercial was for Remington, shot in London and was pretty special to her. Another job that will always remember was a shoot for a Japanese department store in New York, shot by the eccentric Terry Richardson.
Eline practiced ballet for 10 years, which really has helped her in modeling career—mainly because of her posture, but also because of muscle memory. She also used to play national championships basketball. What a contrast! Eline always wants to have a little side-project besides modeling. For example, she did a course in art direction, she is a qualified nutrition, and currently learning Spanish.
