At the age of 16, Angela was asked to join the Rimmel Model Masters competition. After several rounds—where people could vote for her—she hit the finals and got signed with a Dutch agency and so her modeling career began.
During her career, Angela lived and worked in places such as Milan, Miami, and Capetown. She worked with brands like Björn Borg and Monique Collignon and fashion designers Hans Ubbink and Marlies Dekkers. Fun fact: while frequently working with photographer Carin Verbruggen, she became the regular face for Marlies Dekkers doing many shoots and shows.
When not working Angela loves to travel, eat, work on her passion home styling, or being with her hands out in the garden. She is also keen to connect to society by working with elder people or for the Dutch foodbank—she finds it very beautiful to bring happiness to others through help and attention. But the most important thing in life for Angela is to speak, laugh, live, together with her son, her friends and family.
