Some friends of Jaap made the suggestion that he should approach a model agency. That’s what he did at the age of 21 and has been working as a model ever since.

Jaap loves to do commercials, especially the ones when he can use his acting skills. He studied multiple dance styles at the Fontys Dance Academy, dances like street dance, jazz ballet, tap dance, and ballet. Very convenient as Jaap played in a professional musical show for the famous Dutch musical producers Joop van den Ende and Albert Verlinde for 5 years.

Besides dancing, Jaap also plays the piano, sings, and loves to do a lot of sports, fitness, CrossFit, running, and some yoga. Jaap also is a gifted photographer which is another great passion. When Jaap is not working as a model or photographer, he loves to relax, dancing at a party, or enjoy the weekend being outdoors. This is what keeps him in balance—work hard and play hard.
